Corinne-Hi! My name is Corinne and I am the oldest person on our team but don't let my age fool you! Three years ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Scotland on a mission trip. I fell in love with the country, and the people. I am thrilled that God has provided me with an opportunity to go back again this summer and I am looking forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones. Through tennis and service projects, we pray that God will enable us to share HIS amazing love with the Scots. Our team has grown very close in recent weeks as we have met weekly to prepare for our journey. I can't wait to see and experience what He has planned!
Kirstie-Hello, my name is Kirstie and I'm looking forward to going back to Kilmarnock/Stevenston for my fourth year. This trip can be summed up in one word for me: relationships. Over the years I have made some very dear friendships with teenagers as well as adults. I am looking forward to going back, having a cup of tea and catching up, and meeting new people and making new friends. The Lord has made it very clear that I am to go back again this year, and I am so excited about the team He is sending. We are going to teach tennis to kids, teens, and adults, do service projects, speak at a morning tea, make new friends, and I am looking forward to getting to see how everyone lives. I am alsolooking forward to seeing how the Lord is going to use me to minister to others and how I will be drawn closer to Him.
Trey-My name is Trey. First and foremost, I am a sinner, saved by grace, and I live every day in awe of that fact. Second, I am a son and a brother; I love my family, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Third, I am a student-athlete. Tennis is my passion, and, I believe, my calling as well. Ultimate frisbee is my #2 sport. I love hanging out with friends, doing stuff outdoors (camping, hiking, canoeing, sports), and doing Scottish, British, and thick Southern impersonations. lol. I would kill (well, almost) for spaghetti and meatballs, but I pretty much love eating anything. I love my life, my family, my friends, and most of all, my Savior, and I look forward to living out that love in a new way in Scotland this summer.
Josh-Hi! My name is Josh. I am totally psyched about going to Scotland in a couple of weeks. I am so excited that I will have the opportunity to share the gospel and teach my favorite sport, tennis, to the Scottish people. Along with tennis, I am really looking forward to building relationships with the people in Scotland. I am eager to see how the Lord will work with our team, and I pray that we will have a large and lasting impact.
